At Afon Goch we firmly believe that making the most of all educational opportunities is at the heart of preparing a child for adult life. Our goal is to give every child as many opportunities and tools necessary to succeed in their life.  Many children have had a fractured educational career with negative experiences and a negative attitude to education. It is our role to change those views and to foster positive attitudes to learning and development.

Enjoyable learning opportunities and experiences tailored to the needs of the individual, provides children placed at Afon Goch with a standard of education that focuses on their ability to cope in such settings.Each child placed at Afon Goch has a designated Education link worker which is manager Lynsey Evans. Lynsey liaises closely with external resources to maximise the effectiveness of the child’s educational experience, this could be through arranging work experience or achievement awards such as the Duke of Edinburgh.Afon Goch has the facility to provide an educational package to suit the needs of the child. This could be supporting the child at school or college or providing one to one tuition within our own school at Afon Goch through our highly qualified and experienced teachers.
